You don’t need to make techno or industrial music to benefit from drone samples. They come in handy to inject mood into any track, especially if they float ominously in the background. Flying Lotus used spacey drones a lot, Death Grip and Danny Brown come to mind as well!
The potential sound of dystopia is one that’s captivated many a musician, and it’s also inspired our sample creators. So, hunker down in your bunker and embrace the darkness with this selection of drones. All the samples are supplied as WAV files so can be imported directly into your DAW or sampler of choice. Because they’re royalty-free, you’re welcome to use the samples in your music in any way you like – all we ask is that you don’t re-distribute them.
LANDSCAPE is an instrument that easily creates deeply woven, dynamic ambiances and drones. Equipped with seven layered sounds and eight effects LANDSCAPE can be used either as self-running drone generator or as a playable instrument. LANDSCAPE is based around seven sound slots, which can be loaded with various sounds. Five of these slots feature an assortment of waveforms, one is dedicated to noise and rumbling, and the last one can generate waterdrops or atomic blips using random intervals.
