LoFi Sample Pack by Arbour
Ableton regularly gives out sample packs and usually combines this with a small background article. The current campaign features the hip hop beat smith Hans Watkins alias Arbour. Like many producers of instrumental hip-hop, he relies on the SP samplers from Boss / Roland and appreciates their lo-fi aesthetics. With Arbour it is the Roland SP-404 that gives the sound a very special character. The almost 140 MB free download contains drums, foley and a few harmonic samples.
