Phonk Drum Kit

Phonk Drum Kit is our take on the trap genre that’s been titled Phonk. While the drums in this kit are largely trap based, everything else has a decidedly lo-fi aestethic which often reminds of the southern chopped and screwed production in the 90s.

 

 

Often producers work with samples that get trecorded through lo-fi hardware samplers, like SP-404. There’s also a growing selection of Lo-Fi VST plugins if you prefer to stay in the box. In this drum kit you get 27 Kicks, 43 Snares, 9 Hats, 27 Percussion Sounds and 20 808s. Everything is inspired by J Cole’s recent album KOD, which oozes of Phonky style beats!
