TR-606 Drum Samples

Want some TR-606 Drum Samples? Here’s a free sample pack of the legendary TR-606 drum machine by Roland. Sometimes referred to as Drumatix, it was launched in 1982, and even if it never reached the influence of the TR-808 and TR-909, this machine is still a classic that can be heard in thousands of productions – one of them being the iconic song Flat Eric by Mr. Oizo.

The sample pack was sampled from the original drum machine and is quite small. You get seven different drum sounds (Kick, Snare, Low Tom, High Tom, Open Hihat, Closed Hihat, Cymbal) in accented and not accented version.

Aside from the clean hits, you also get a folder of tape saturated drum hits (accented and not accented), so all in all 28 WAV samples in this sample pack! This pack was submitted to us with no info about license and usage rights. So use at your own risk. The Roland TR-606 free samples are available as WAV with 44.1 kHz and 16-bit. There are no patches or presets for any sampler at this moment.
